CELTH heeft een meerjarige kennisagenda voor het gastvrijheidsdomein samengesteld en investeert daar de komende drie jaar anderhalf miljoen euro in. Rond deze Agenda Bewuste Bestemming (ABB) wordt kennis op vijf urgente thema’s ontwikkeld. (Kennis)partners worden uitgedaagd mee te investeren en daarmee het zo noodzakelijke kennisfundament onder het gastvrijheidsdomein te versterken.

Facilitate Management Development programmes (amongst others for Postillion Hotels)

Coaching in the Work&Study (dual) programme, in which people that already work in the hospitality industry in The Netherlands are trained to become leaders within that industry in the (near) future or - for those who are already in a leading position - can further develop their managerial competencies.
Students study towards an Associate Degree or BBA degree while working and developing themselves in the industry.
Students work at a wide range of companies within the Dutch horeca: from 5**** hotels like Amstel, de l'Europe, Okura,Waldorf-Astoria and Andaz via Ibis, Hampshire and Holiday Inn to small and specific restaurants and pubs. One important company worldwide, but also in the Netherlands, HMSHost - operating around 70 outlets at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport - offers this programme to around 30 of its (assistant)managers and shift leaders. A part of the training sessions therefor takes place at the airport.

I developed, planned, organized, managed and - together with a team of lecturers and support staff - executed the part-time BBAcourse in Hotel Management in Leeuwarden, Netherlands and Oranjestad, Aruba.Currently, this program has been replaced by a work&study (dual) programme, in which I have been closely involved as dual coach
