All Process and Communication installation and equipment on surface as well as underground, which consists of: Fire detection, Seismic Monitoring Installations, Video and PA systems and Surface central control room. Primary equipment responsibility, such as the following: Fire Detection Equipment, Seismic Equipment, Video & PA Equipment, Communication Backbone, All Instrument Process Installations, Network Room and Surface Control Room. Legal required maintenance on services and infrastructure areas, such as the following: Fridge plants and all Cooling services, Pump Stations, 3 Pipe Chamber System, Cables, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Loading on 101 & 102 Level, Booster Fans, Communication Backbone, All CIC panels, Main Fans, Pressure Reducing Stations and Fire Detection Installations. Scrutinize designs of once-off construction jobs, and use these to prepare a construction schedule. I do inspections and sign every installation done off for and on behalf of myself prior to taking over responsibility of the maintenance and operation of such installation. I am responsible for the people working in my section. I ensure that the people have access to and understand the relevant policies, procedures and standards for their area of work. I must ensure that the people in my section have the required training to perform their duties and that their training certificates are valid. I am also responsible for the development of the people in my section and arrange courses and training as required. I perform operational risk assessments and abnormal task assessments for each abnormal task such as ad hoc installations and weekend work. I am responsible for controlling my stores costs, labour cost and costs of overtime worked as per the budget allocated to me. I am responsible for controlling the administration of my department.
