I help insurance providers solve complex business-wide challenges.At heart, I’m an engineer. When I joined SPS as Head Key Account Management for Insurance and Commercial clients, I brought 32 years of knowledge gained in technical roles at IBM. I spent many of those years supporting a global insurance leader.This means I bring a wide perspective to our clients’ challenges. Insights from industries as diverse as packaged consumer goods or automotive, for example, can inspire us to look at the problems insurers face in a fresh, unexpected way.Being Swiss, I’m quite structured in my approach. That said, I like to leave sufficient space for creative thinking to prosper.I see three big priorities for the insurance sector today. Firstly, cybersecurity. With many businesses embracing outsourcing, it only takes one delivery location to be compromised for the whole customer experience to be affected.Secondly, providers are keen to find more value-added touch points. They want to position themselves as risk advisory services, not just risk transfer providers.The third priority is operational efficiency through continued cloud transformation.
