As Service Delivery Manager, I'm responsible for the largest TVT NL client accounts. Amongst these clients are, Sony Europe B.V., Liberty Global, SPI International, Discovery Inc., and AMCNetworks International (Southern Europe, Central & Northern Europe , AMC UK & AMC Studio’s B.V.). Where we recently launched for AMCNY the Amazon Canada services).I act as the main point of contact for the client(s), attending routine meetings, reporting on performance and manage any request. Pivotal is to ensure that both parties benefit from the collaboration where trust, honesty and transparency are key to be successful in the competitive linear and non-linear markets.By working closely with other teams, and taking the lead on ensuring operational excellence, delivering organic growth of the account, acts as key stakeholder for changes/projects and leads projects to ensure delivery on time and to budget.

In the role as manager I’ve been responsible for the planning, directing and overseeing the VOD operations, ensuring a healthy business unit, within the DMC. Where Sales, After Sales, Project Management, Operations, Finance, Development, VOD IT Support were under my responsibility.The VOD department manages over 55,000 active on-demand titles at any given moment. Within a fast changing environment, I spotted trends, innovations and market potentials in order to engage new business opportunities.With a lead by example & a hands on mentality I lead my teams. By working together we achieve higher goals and predictive output. Besides managing the VOD department I was also responsible for the migration of all live VOD operations (hardware & Software). From internal technical facility to an external Datacentre. Where innovation and end-state architecture where the KPI’s of the project we prepared the DMC for the future.

As operational manager the core responsibilities were to manage the expectations of senior management and to ensure a predictive monthly output for the VOD department of the organization. With over 100 platforms and 137services the DMC has a large footprint with OnDemand services. By managing a department with 25 employees which were divided in 5 teams; Sourcing & acquisitions team, Metadata team, Encoding team, Scheduling team and a Support team we managed the end-to-end OnDemand services for our clients. From Traditional OnDemand services as FVOD, SVOD, TVOD & COD’s till specialized or customized OTT services. Additional responsibilities were to respond to RFP’s and scoping large VOD projects. Next to this the preparations for the monthly invoicing are also part of my remit.

As a project manager VOD at the Digital Media Centre I’m responsible for internal VOD related projects and the expansion of new services for existing clients or implementation of new clients and/or new cable operators. With on-boarding VoD platforms for multiple cable operators across Europe, Middle East, Turkey, Russia the DMC has been able to grow the footprint which it operates in.Some of the big project where- The launch of the first Myprime for UPC Netherlands- The Launch of Myprime for Cablecom Swiss- The launch of Myprime Hungary and Poland- The on-boarding of 10 new VoD platforms for Zone with multiple Channel on Demand services to various regions.- The on-boarding of 9 new platforms and full services ( platform specific metadata services, poster creation, trailers creation, encoding services, and scheduling services) for the Sundance Channel

With a 24/7 playout facility where 80 linear television channels originate the core responsibilities where managing a team of Playout Operators in a shift-rotating pattern. In this role I was tasked with managing and adequate decision taking when issues occurred, These could exist from scheduling issues till complex technical ones. All were required to be managed in the most efficient way to ensure the most efficient uptime of the channels. Part of the role was to communicate with internal and external parties to ensure a seamless operations.

Channel Director/Technician. The core activities were to coordinate and controlling the transmission of television channel 10. With full responsibility I was tasked to ensure seamless playout services as outlined by the scheduling department. Any deviation was required to be adequately managed to ensure key timeslot to remain on time.

Next to this the responsibility was to ensure all media was available for transmission. It was part of the role to manage missing media by contacting internal or external department to ensure media was delivered in time.

In a relative small company existing out of 20 people, I was responsible for the acquisitions of advertisement several (craft) magazines and newspapers. The work consisted of telephonically acquisition and to create together with the advertiser a marketing strategy to measure the response of the subscribers of magazines or newspapers.
