Irish on Ionia based in Grand Rapids (MI) is one of the country’s largest full day celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day.

I was first licensed as a Realtor in 1998 and I received my Brokers License in 2006, not long after that River Grand Properties was formed as an indie Real Estate Brokerage... and while we don't do much in the way of daily turn-and-burn real estate activity, our efforts primarily focus on investment portfolio opportunities.

Responsible for 'air traffic control' of all communication, marketing, and sales support for one of the largest fire truck manufacturers in the United States. Including but not limited to all inbound & outbound corporate communication, digital marketing strategies, develop training curriculum, introduce & execute PR opportunities, social media content development across multiple platforms, serve as a creative director with advertising & graphic design assets; and deploy all national, regional, and local trade show strategies.

Reported directly to Spectrum Health’s CSO (Roger Jansen), and the Spectrum Health Foundation’s Director of Annual Giving (Brad Kaufman). The role was that of a multi-faceted person as a communication consultant that could interface with company leadership for all aspects of the respective initiatives, just a few of the many listed below.• TEDxSpectrumHealth: Utilizing the global brand standards of TED.com, my team curated all facets of the annual event; including communication strategy, talent coaching/development, event production, and project management.• Spectrum Health Gala: Obtained and coordinated the speakers/talent, produced, and project managed the 2500 attendee event, which is their largest annual fundraising event.• Auto Show Charity Spectacular: Conceptualized, marketed, project managed, and produced the annual fundraiser for the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, which always precedes the annual Auto Show.

During my Tenure at LiveSpace, I worked in many different capacities, including communication initiatives, product development, project management, sales and marketing. My background in communication, event design & strategy, and even manufacturing was an important part of helping develop an emerging brand in W. Michigan and nationally.• Integration: Notable venues such as the City Flats Ballroom, the Ballroom at McKay, and UICA; all of which were my accounts. Worked heavily on the concept, engineering, and project management side; and to help the client with issues like construction timelines.• Live Events: Developed, project managed, marketed and produced notable W. Michigan's events; including DGRI’s Movies in the Park, Spectrum Health’s Auto Show Charity Spectacular and annual Gala, Halloween on Ionia (10K), Irish on Ionia (20K), HOT-FM NYE Ball-drop (40K), LaughFest, and TEDxGrandRapids.

TEDx Grand Rapids is an independently organized TED event dedicated to leveraging the power of ideas to change the world.

Nightlife and special event communication specialist for the JW Marriott Grand Rapids and Amway Hotel Collection. While this role was primarily centric to my efforts as the Resident DJ within Mixology Lounge at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids, it enabled me to conceive, design, and produce social media driven nightlife events throughout the Amway Hotel Collection… Juice Ball, Little Black Dress and the highly acclaimed Cygnature Series to name just a few.

The objective of ACTIVESITE is to provide ‘a catalyst for collaboration’ between the Art, Business, and Real Estate Development communities of W. Michigan; as a way of creating unique exhibition and promotional opportunities. This is accomplished by holding large‐scale art exhibitions in either under‐developed or underutilized commercial real estate structures, often long forgotten or emerging architectural gems awaiting a new life.

I was the Michigan Broker for Garrison Partners projects, and the Sales Manager of Grand Haven Club condos and apartments in Grand Haven, MI.

I served in different capacities while at Keller Williams Realty. I really found a bit of my calling in training real estate professionals in technology strategy, and was T3 (train the trainer) certified by KWRI.
