Working within the HR Operations team to create and define effective and efficient global HR processes. I was part of a project team who implemented a new HRIS - Oracle Fusion - for the Asia region and now provide ongoing support for this system. I oversee the UK HRIS for Macmillan ensuring that accurate data is collated and processed to payroll. I supervise all transactional activity with a team of data and process specialists.

Involved in the end-to-end recruitment of the Macmillan Science and Education divisions, through a transition project, which involved the relocation of offices from Oxford and Basingstoke to London. I was heavily involved in using social media, such as LinkedIn, and working closely with senior managers to identify key skills gaps and areas for talent development. I was involved in introducing a psychometric tool to build on the recruitment process. I was responsible for producing monthly reports for senior managers, covering the main KPIs for recruitment and ensuring budgets are adhered to.

Within this role I constantly advised and supported line and senior managers on HR processes and areas such as recruitment, absence management and performance development. I advised employees in regard to areas of induction, company policies, family friendly and benefits. I also worked within the HR team to ensure HR processes and policies were kept relevant and worked efficiently. I was a key user of our HR system, within the team, providing training and support to others when necessary. I worked with managers to increase confidence and knowledge of employee relations matters and ensured these matters were dealt with promptly.
