👋Hi, my name is Eric.🎓 Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity. (Received June 2023)🌇 Born in the Philippines but currently in Washington State with a passion for Cybersecurity practices and analysis.📚 My first IT job was at a school district where I learned team working skills, troubleshooting, and IT help desk skills. After that, I got a Security Operations Center Internship with MISI and the NSA. There I learned major Cybersecurity skills such as Windows Security, Malware Analysis, Ethical hacking with Metasploit, and assessing security with SIEM tools such as Splunk and Elastic. I then had an Internship with Costco IT at their corporate headquarters as a Network Security Engineer. Next, I was a SecOps Intern with PACCAR ITD. Then, I was a Cloud Support Associate at AWS where I troubleshoot for customers in the Developer/Mobile Services (DMS) over email, phone, and live text chats. 💻 As for my future, I hope to one day work as a hands-on IT Professional with a diverse team where I am always learning and applying my knowledge.🏔 In my free time, you may catch me listening to Cybersecurity/IT podcasts, taking care of my pets, or traveling.
