I graduated from Istanbul University School of Medicine in 2007, followed by internal medicine training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, which I completed in 2013. I then pursued a nephrology fellowship at Istanbul University School of Medicine, finishing in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, I worked as a nephrologist at Istanbul University School of Medicine.Currently, I serve as a board member of the European Renal Association (ERA) DESCaRTES working group and am part of the ERA's social media team. I am also a former country representative for the ERA Young Nephrologists' Platform.My research primarily focuses on immunology and viral infections in the context of organ transplantation. I have authored or co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals, coordinated several multicenter studies, and contributed to various international research projects.
