Mr. Chambers has more than 28 years of experience in construction, including Category 2 bridges, Pre-Stress, Threshold, Post Tensioning, Asphalt Paving and Building Inspection. His experience includes Quality Control and Verification of Category 1 and Category 2 Bridge Structures, MSE walls, Concrete Structures, Embankment, Subgrade, Base and Full Depth Reclamation throughout Florida on Design-Build Finance, and Design-Build projects. He is also experienced in forecasting, planning and scheduling Level 1 and 2 technicians to expedite project testing requirements. He has thorough knowledge with MAC and FDOT documents such as CPAM, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Flexible Pavement Design Manual, Design Standards, ERS Coding, Materials Manuals Volume 1 and 2, FDOT Structures Manual, Plans Preparation Manuals and Computation of Quantities. He continuously monitors specification revisions, DCE memos and changes to FDOT specification requirements. He has 10 years experience with all aspects involving Full Depth Reclamation including bituminous and cement percentage design criteria. Develop and maintain QC plan for all work performed on embankment, stabilized subgrade, base, concrete, asphalt, pipe and structures. Continuously monitor LIMS for (C-22) sample transmittal information relating to concrete, base, subgrade, embankment and asphalt. Provide technical support for production and suggest recommendations for corrective actions. Enter exceptions of non-compliance to notarized monthly construction compliance of specifications to Project Manager. Weekly and monthly review of density logbook entries reported to Project Manager and Project Administrator. Sign monthly acceptance in density logbooks. Attend weekly progress meetings with the Department on all project specific issues. Coordinate QC technician time for construction services on projects.Sample transmittal information relating to concrete, base, subgrade, embankment and asphalt entered into excel spreadsheets.
