Most of my time in the Wheaton College Archives was spent processing, describing, and preserving archival and special collections items, many of which we receive from students, alumni, faculty, and staff. This includes entering all documentation and knowledge of each item I work with into our online database in ArchivesSpace. I was relied on to train and supervise coworkers, develop manifests of donations and acquisitions, and aid in preparation for classes taught in the archives and by the archives staff. I also had clearance to access restricted and confidential collections.

As a technical services assistant, my time was divided between serials, cataloging, and acquisitions departments, so I was relied on to juggle tasks, set priorities, and work independently.
