Slope stability recommendations are provided to the Mine Engineering department. • Perform annual review of Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) and other Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure plans are still relevant and in compliance with Newmont’s operational standards.• Write SOPs for the Geotechnical Engineering Group focusing on software usage, monitoring, and geotechnical hazards. SOPs regarding geotechnical hazard, slope instabilities, or active mining areas are communicated to key stakeholders. • Develop and present Mine Operations Crew Communications focusing on potential geotechnical hazards in active mining areas. • Provide site training and safety induction for all external consultants working with Geotechnical Group.
