Working as a regional plans officer, I drove logistics for South America, Central America, and the Caribbean while managing 12 direct reports. Using my analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, I streamlined SOCSOUTH J4 Theater Logistics Branch operations to deliver robust logistics support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) operating in the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) AOR. I was instrumental in developing impactful policies and procedures to ensure the seamless execution of OPLANS/CONPLANS for deliberate operations planning. Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Facilitated meetings related to emerging Counterterrorism threats, Counter-Narco Terrorism, and USSOCOM planning initiatives.• Coordinated VP and President’s visit to Peru for the Summit of the Americas by overseeing logistics for 120 special operations elements in Lima and Columbia with a consolidated budget of $1.2M.• Operational planner for the US Southern Command situation assessment team leading a team of professionals to facilitate successful sustainment of 100 personnel and $300M in equipment.• Facilitated sustainment operations for multi-country exercises by providing logistics, including vehicles, food, transportation, and flights for over 120 personnel with $2M in equipment and a budget of $5.7M.• Partnered with GCC and Component staff in Trans-Regional Synchronization events per SOCSOUTH and SOUTHCOM battle rhythms.

As a Manager, I advised commanders and senior leaders on all aspects of material management, such as establishing policy and publishing guidance on Supply Support Activity (SSA) management, Logistics Information Systems (LIS) operations, and equipping subordinate units. I was instrumental in deploying Army ERP Wave 1 solution for Global Combat Support System-Army and implementing SOPs for DoD Supply Chain’s primary functions. Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Spearheaded a team of 15 direct soldiers to oversee warehouse operations for seven brigades, review all purchases, and secure approval of 130k procurement transactions worth $503M.• Received outstanding feedback from executive leadership for arbitrating 56 cases and recovering $610M back to the DoDs budget.• Offered oversight to 7 SSA’s with a combined Authorized to Forecast (ATF) of 9300 lines ($26.5M) supporting 210 customers and over 300 Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAACs).• Nominated to lead retrograde operations in Afghanistan and played an instrumental role in retrograde and recovery of over $900M in equipment during the president’s directed withdrawal.

During this tenure, I delivered overarching logistical support to the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) while acting as Warehouse Accountable Officer for a multi-class Supply Support Activity (SSA). My relationship-building skills allowed me to improve collaboration between GCSS-A, PBUSE, SAMS-E, SARSS-1, SARSS-2A, and multiple sources of supply. I provided guidance to the command on logistical initiatives while maintaining effective relations with AMC, DLA, and XVIII ABN Corps staff sections. I also sustained SSA compliance with Department of the Army (DA) performance metrics.Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Spearheaded end-to-end management of 3.6K Authorized to Forecast (ATF) lines with a consolidated value of $5.2M.• Headed a highly skilled supply chain team and fostered strong inter-departmental communication practices for 8 NCOs and 20 Soldiers within a challenging environment.
