3Arts is a nonprofit arts service and grantmaking organization that advocates for Chicago’s women artists, artists of color, and artists with disabilities who work in the performing, teaching, and visual arts. By providing cash awards, project funding, residency fellowships, professional development, and promotion, 3Arts helps artists take risks, experiment, and build momentum in their careers.

The Chicago Leadership Alliance (CLA) provides a community for Chicago’s most ambitious, benevolent and well-connected young leaders. The CLA offers members an opportunity to interact and build important relationships, while also providing members with the forum to leverage collective influence, resources, experiences, contacts, ideas and fresh perspectives...all in order to benefit others, and accomplish otherwise unobtainable objectives. The success of The CLA stems from our simple, yet powerful and inspiring Action Statement: “Collaborating for the betterment of others, our city, and our members.” Through organized leadership and structure, there are four main components that drive The CLA: Philanthropy, Civic, Business, and Social.

-Managed as many as 11 accounts at once-Developed and implemented effective PR pitches for clients -Averaged at least one media placement per week per client-Contacted key members of the media daily through phone calls and email-Prepared clients for live appearances through complex media training-Composed press releases and media kits for new client launches-Developed and oversaw the summer internship training program for incoming interns -Compiled comprehensive media lists consisting of contacts for all aspects of the press
