Erick has been working with virtual solutions since 1998, when in his original occupation (physical education teacher) he realized the need to create an online training program system. At that time, in his home country, there were no professionals available for this type of system. So, Erick traveled to Washington, D.C. where he had a friend working at a reputable software company, and together they developed the first physical training software in the world, which was a success and was used in hundreds of gyms in Brazil. Since then, Erick has been creating solutions and helping entrepreneurs to permanently enter the virtual business world.Erick Salgado was also the creator of the first digital inclusion program for small businesses in Brazil, which resulted in the creation of more than 5,000 websites in its first year of business.Always seeking solutions for young entrepreneurs, in 2005, Erick Salgado created the first virtual mini-franchises system, which provided small entrepreneurs with a real possibility to enter the Internet business industry with a solid and profitable business system. It was then that the “O MELHOR DO BAIRRO” (“THE BEST OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD”) portal emerged, which soon became the largest neighborhood portal in the world.In 2010, with hundreds of clients and thousands of pages built, Erick noticed a new change that was happening behind the scenes of the Internet, regarding the users’ profile and the flood of SPAM websites, which overshadowed the quality results that were once favored. It was then that the idea was born. The idea of creating a single and efficient platform so that users who actually rely on the Internet to promote their business could have all of the necessary solutions and highest quality in one place, because just having a website was no longer sufficient to ensure presence and results on the Internet. With the increase in competition, came an increase in the need for quality and expertise, and thus OMB100 came to life.
