I was recruited in this assignment to be deputed at NHAI PIU – Sasaram & was assigned responsibilities as below:Assisting Project Director, PIU - Sasaram in project management, contract management and also in monthly site inspections. Responsible for responding to all technical & contractual correspondences.Preparing or checking technical reports / methodologies etc. Checking estimates & rate analyses submitted by the Concessionaire & vetted by the IE for Descoping/Change of Scope. Project Scheduling & Planning using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project & Calquan before resuming the construction activity, after the settlement of disputes between NHAI & the Concessionaire by CCIE, NHAI. Also, tracking the progress of the project highway using the same.Preparation of cross-sections & longitudinal sections using softwares such as AutoCAD, Road Estimator, ESurvey, Calquan & Civil 3D & verifying sections submitted by the contractors.Construction supervision for Formation works (Embankment, Subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, DLC, PQC, etc.) & Structural works (Concreting, Bar Bending Schedules, etc.).Participated in Technical & Financial evaluation of bids for contractors & consultants submitted to NHAI. Assisted in preparation of tender documents for tendering process of Six Laning of Aurangabad to Chordaha Section of NH-2 under Bharatmala on EPC Mode.Checking EOT & Variation proposals submitted by the Concessionaire / Contractor / Consultant.Expertise in using Civil Engineering Softwares such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Road Estimator, E Survey, Calquan, Revit, 3Ds Max, Staad Pro, MS Project, Primavera, MX Road, In Roads, Open Roads & still many more adding daily.Attended seminar on SAP, conducted by DFCCIL at its HQ at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.Regularly updating my skills to keep myself the best asset of my employer.
