JOB SUMMARY:The Project Manager is responsible to handle different projects in the company. They apply professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule to ensure satisfied clients. The role will oversee aspects of project lifecycle of analysis, design and implementation by developing proper project plans, and maintain documentation as when needed. Work planning & organization• Organize and prioritize work of team members: lead teams of engineers and ensure that deadlines on work and projects are met.• Understand expectations that were set by client and recognizes when issues/events may affect de-livery.• Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies.• Ensure submission of daily reports of activities in Tracker tool.• Actively contribute to corporate knowledge base and keep up to date with new technologies.• Share knowledge among the team and creates sessions to encourage learning (minimum on a quar-terly basis).• Scrum meetings and report to Management: Report and distribute to all teams of the Technology Unit information highlighting areas for improvement and those of concern and opportunity.• Recommend and implement operational process and improvements.• Work towards and implement best practice.Team management:• Generate enthusiasm and motivation among team members.• Encourage team members to make innovative contributions and embrace new ideas.• Ensure training plans to junior staff: provide guidelines to senior team member for training plan to junior staff and follow-up on status and progress.• Manage team members’ performance: appraise staff members, schedule monthly meeting with each team member to discuss progress and improvement plan; yearly appraisal for each team member.• Handle staff leaves (holiday requests and sick leave) and plan work and deadlines accordingly.• Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process.
