About Ertan B.

I have finished my bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2004 from Middle East Technical University in Turkey, one of the ABET Accredited Universities in the World. My senior project was to design self-cooling beverage cans.In 2004 I have started my Master's Degree at Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg in Germany. I have written my master thesis at Grenzebach BSH. I have developed a new solution for estimating drying times for designing the veneer dryers. Between March 2006, and August 2006 I had done my internship at Procter and Gamble on Feminine care products. In May 2007 I have started to work at Grenzebach BSH as a process engineer in process development department. I have solid technical knowledge in drying technology, thermal process engineering, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics and gypsum chemistry. In March 2011 I have started to work at Celanese GmbH as process/project engineer. In April 2012 I have started to work at Turkish Patent and Trademark Office as patent examiner. I have established search and examination reports in national patent applicants and PCT applications especially for chemical and pharmaceutical inventions. From July 2019 to June 2020 I have worked in World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as fellow. I was responsible for formality examination of PCT applications. I have gained experience in PCT treaty and regulations.
