As a graduate student, I had the chance to participate actively and with a high level of commitment in numerous research projects with national and international funding. Among these, it is particularly worth mentioning the PharmaCog project, funded by the European Union under the Innovative Medicine Initiative. My postdoctoral experience includes a fellowship under the Marie-Curie programme for the integration of foreign researchers into the Belgian Science System (BeIPD-COFOUND); and a research fellowship for postdoctoral researchers funded by the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, at the University of Trier in Germany. Currently, I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University Jaume I in Castellon, within the research group «Learning, Memory, and Addiction: Neurobiological and Genetic mechanisms».Thanks to these opportunities, not only had I the chance to familiarise me with new techniques, such as PET and fMRI in rodents but also to widen my research perspective with the possibility of working with human subjects. Additionally, I supervised a few bachelor students and a master’s thesis. Among other qualifications are the «Category C training course in Experimental design and animal proceedings»; a Higher education certificate in Human dietetics; and two specialisation courses (EQF 7) in Nutrition and Health: (1) Advanced Clinical Nutrition, and (2) Sports Nutrition, Sports Science and Rehabilitation. I am also part of the coordinating committee and design of the study «Estudio sobre Prevalencia de Obesidad, Sobrepeso y Hábitos nutricionales en escolares del área de salud Xàtiva-Ontinyent» («Study on the prevalence of obesity, overweight and dietary habits of scholars from the Xativa-Ontinyent health region»), within the strategic framework of the Community of Valencia for the improvement of intervention protocols in primary health care.
