Ertugrul Bugrahan was born in Nicosia which is the capital city of Cyprus on 28th of June in 1983. After he completed his primary education, he succeded in comprehensive placement exam and he then went to British College (TMK). After college education he went to United Kingdom of Great Britain for his university education and he graduated from the university of Wolverhampton Business School with Middle class degree (2.2) in 2006. His award is B.A.(Hons) Business Management. He worked as an administrator in Spurgeons for 5 months in United Kingdom. In addition he was also appointed as International Student Representative in his final year within the Student Union of University of Wolverhampton. On june of 2007 he returned to Cyprus and hired as an auditor trainee in banking sector. After the trainee period, He joined to compulsory Military service in December 2007 for a year and appointed as an English-Turkish Language Translator of Nicosia Regiment after being successful in English and Turkish proficiency exams.On 3rd of March in 2009, he continued his professional career within Near East Bank as Assistant Auditor and he was promoted as an Auditor in early 2012. Although he was appointed to the head of Risk Management Department at the beginning of 2013, he is currently carrying risk management activities with same position. On the other hand, he is economy and finance columnist of Diyalog newspaper. Ertugrul Bugrahan has attended to many types of seminars and has obtained certificates regarding with the field of Information Security, Risk Management, Market Risk, Asset & Liability Management, International Auditing Standards, Basel II Perspectives, Sustainable Credits, Analyzing the Balance Sheet of Companies, Treasury & Derivative Instruments, Gold in Banking Sector & Derivative Instruments, Liquidity Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Strategic Management, Currency Risk Management etc.
