Belonging to Kocaeli University, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, I worked as an assistant student in the research group of the Powder Metallurgy Laboratory, where Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Yamanoğlu was the coordinator.Within the scope of laboratory studies, I can use all the necessary devices for sample preparation, mechanical tests, tribological tests and microstructural characterizations. With the skills I have, I have examined a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. I took part in 1 TÜBİTAK TEYDEB SAYEM project belonging to the laboratory. I took part in 4 TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B projects. I gained insight into many subjects within the scope of collaborations with various companies in the laboratory where I work.I have given brief information about my capabilities below.• Precision and abrasive cutting• Hot and cold bakelite• Sanding and polishing• Chemical etching, hot etching and electrolytic etching • Dry friction, wear tests in hot and corrosive environments using the ball-on-disc method in accordance with ASTM G99 standards• Fatigue Test, Tensile Test and Three Point Bending Test• Optical microscope for microstructures characterizations• XRD Phase Analysis (Rigaku) and Match (High Score Plus)• Ball Mill• OES (Optical Emission Spectrometer) • Vickers and micro-vickers hardness • Nanoindentation• 3D Profilometer• EPMA Analysis (Electron Probe Micro-Analyzer) • Heat treatment • Pressure assisted sintering (CCA, HEA, Titanium alloys, CoCr Superalloys, Inconel alloys, Various coatings, Specific Cu Alloys, CuCrZr, Shape Memory Alloys, Mg etc.)• Metal mold casting (Al, Cu, Ti, Inconel, HEA etc.)• CALPHAD Methodology Apart from these, PhD student and Master Engineer Onur MURATAL, who is in the Laboratory, carries out the process of obtaining metal powder from various alloys by gas atomization. I took part in these processes.
