Improved code organization and extended test coverage, admittedly deleting much more lines than I added. Later researched securely provisioning Bluetooth IoT devices without the need for on-site user interaction, and based my Master's thesis on that. Since these devices, such as smart light bulbs, lack conventional user interfaces, securely installing them to networks poses significant challenges. Before my work, the state of the art was to leave the setup completely unprotected. I was able to propose a set of workable solutions to achieve the security and usability goals, and demonstrate a functional prototype. My supervisor later noted my excellent problem solving skills and innovative new solutions.

ESTCube is a very dynamic project with extremely ambitious technical, scientific, and educational goals. From constrained hardware resources on board the satellite to constrained human resources on the ground, moving it forward requires often diving into completely unfamiliar fields and finding solutions to a wide variety of problems on the go. Contributed to software design, development and testing, researched ways to save radio bandwidth on software updates for my Bachelor's thesis, led the on-board software team and contributed to strategic planning as a board member.
