Ervin was supporting the company on the practicalities and implications of Health and Safety, Quality, and Environment, in addition to ensuring Compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies. He assured the management review was implemented effectively. Examples of his work were the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001, and the implementation of the TÜV SÜD Standard. Ervin led a £16 million project to manufacture and supply Salvo Loading Bay Safety Systems that prevent unscheduled drive-aways at loading bays, the one-off largest order in the history of all Halma plc companies.

Established in 1991, Sunimprof Rottaprint is the largest flexographic printing house producingself-adhesive labels in middle Europe. It is a multinational company with a global presence onthe market. The company has recruited Ervin to improve its KPI's and meet ISO 9001requirements.The role involved auditing and reviewing the company's quality management system andembedding new, improved compliance processes as required. Ervin tendered all facilitiesmanagement services, negotiated contracts, and was then required to monitor the service andreport to the Board. Part of Ervin's role needed him to act as an advisor and liaison with allaspects of the business regarding both Quality and Facilities.

Woco Pipe System Components was founded in 1956 and, today, it provides the competitivebenefits of an internationally active corporation. The Woco Group, with its 20 facilities acrossthe globe, is focusing on manufacturing automotive parts, with the core product fields ofPowertrain and Polymer Technology, and non-automotive parts concerned with industrial antivibration systems, measuring and control systems, pipeline systems, and rail track products.Ervin's initial responsibilities included analysing and challenging existing procedures, staffing,and contracts to recommend and agree on the way forward with staff and directors. Newprocedures and documentation were then produced, including negotiating new or revisedcontracts. Ervin was responsible for the organisation's quality assurance, setting up the initialframework, and guiding managers to fulfil their responsibilities.
