Greenfield investment established in 2015 as a joint venture between CFAO and Heineken, dedicated to producing premium beer in Ivory Coast with a substantial investment of €150 million.Worked with multiple teams to construct a state-of-the-art brewery. Successfully established the company by navigating legal requirements and spearheading negotiations on the funding. DT Dobie, established in 1949, was a leading automotive dealer in Kenya, representing prestigious brands such as Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, and Jeep across six branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, and Kisumu. A pivotal event during my tenure was the acquisition of CFAO by Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), which led to the termination of contracts by several manufacturers. following this significant change, we refocused our strategy on trucks and forged new partnerships for personal vehicles to sustain and grow our market presence. I achieved the following:- Working with the managing director, I developed a business plan for taking over the Volkswagen operations following the loss of the Nissan franchise, including local assembly of selected models.- Improved service efficiency and customer satisfaction by overseeing the opening of new truck maintenance facilities on the key Mombasa-Nairobi highway.- Negotiated short-term bank facilities worth €10 million, achieving a 30% reduction in interest rates, thereby optimizing our financial structure.- Streamline the organization by merging the databases of two branches into a unified system, enhancing management efficiency, stock control, and margin management.

Compagnie Marseillaise de Madagascar – Over a 13 year period, CMM business migrated from multi-activity operation (cash-and-carry, gas distribution, car dealer, FMCG distribution, technology) to ONE core business with a focus on the automotive sector. Company turnover grew from €60m to €150m.I worked closely with all departments in order to strengthen internal control, business analysis and treasury. I supported the general management in the reorganization of the business around the automotive industry.• Together with an external advisor, I separated two peripheral activities (photocopier maintenance & FMCG distribution) from the core activity by creating a subsidiary which was successfully sold. This reorganization took place in one year.• Reduced the customer’s payment deadline by more than 20 days. In each showroom, I deployed a team in charge of customer accounting. • Implemented cash management software to optimize cost analysis and financial flow.• Worked on a merger and acquisition transaction of the Yamaha dealer in La Reunion• I was part of the team who bought the Citroen franchise in La Réunion and streamlined the full organization.
