Worked as a Junior Software Architect in the Innovation team at Enablon, a company specializing in sustainable development and risk management software design for large corporations.Managed the revamping of Enablon Office, the internal ERP, built on the same software stack as other Enablon software, including Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Accounting, HR modules and a shared calendar. Involved in the bootstrapping of the Chicago branch, working closely with the senior officers as a project manager and business analyst, I learnt a lot about how a software vendor can expand and generate a profit,

Opitmized a Rich Web Application which had excessive time and space footprints. Dug into the Javascript framework and reworked the problematic code.

Tried my hand at entrepreneurship. The concept : click & mortar selling and rental of exceptional luxury clothes and accessories.

Managed a small internal HRM & CRM project. Managed the project planning and technical architecture and had to defend my choices before management. Developed new features, heavily optimized the application and implemented a few dashboards for performance management. Managed another intern and made the requirement analysis directly with the founders (CEO and CCO), who taught me a lot on how to start and run a business, as I was also creating my own company at that time.

Improved an existing financial ETL and reporting system and optimized its running time (1 hour to about 1 minute). Refactored this in house software heavily for architecture betterment and enhanced readability, while learning OLAP and OLTP processing, digging into Oracle for Linux and some older systems like RDB on OpenVMS.

Assistant to the technical project manager of the laposte.fr website, we coordinated with the communication and marketing department to review the technical and technological choices made by their contractor. Studied the opportunity of using their FLOSS CMS technology for other public and intranet websites, and then worked as a freelance contractor to redesign the website of the Service National de l'Adresse.
