As a Consultant - Project Manager I was in charge of coordinating and managing the physical and financial execution of FEDER co-funded european projects of cooperation between the Regional Government of Canary Islands and the Kingdom of Morocco (POCTEFEX program).Consulting and Sales:- Elaborating projects' proposals and negotiation clients (usually Vice-Ministries or General Directorates of the Government of Canary Islands).- Counseling during diplomatic issues with the Kingdom of Morocco.- Defending the project during meetings with the Technical Secretary of POCTEFEX.Project management:- Elaboration of internal reports with indicators on the advance of the project (both qualitative and quantitative).- Elaboration of official reports to the Technical Secretary of POCTEFEX- Developing chronograms of actions to implement and adapt them when necessary.- Organizing events in Canary Islands and the Kingdom of Morroco:Financial management:- Searching and suggesting solutions to finance actions of the projects when necessary.- Realizing the certification of expenses on the community funds platform FONDOS 2007 with a pre-audit of the documentation presented and soliciting the reimbursement to the Authority Board of POCTEFEX.

SAITEK S.A. was a company created in 1999 for the development and manufacturing of innovative resistance spot welders for the autobody repair industry.In 2006, the company had a staff of 33 employees and generated 5 million Euros sales. Administrative and financial responsibilities:- Elaboration of sales and profitability reports to the President of the Company.- Management of the staff.Production and procurement responsibilities:- Supervision of the Production Department.- Management of the purchase department.- Insourcing the production of strategic components to preserve the know-how. - Insourcing the production of slow moving items to avoid heavy inventory or high costs resulting from purchase of small quantities.- Integration of a workshop with secondary process machines and skilled staff so as to pursue the strategy of vertical upstream diversification that sought the integration of critical components and basic parts.Although, this achievement was initially motivated by the necessity to avoid disclosing to subcontractors the technology of some strategic components, it also resulted in an enhanced reactivity and an improvement of cost of slow moving items manufactured in small quantities.- Implementation of a multisourcing policy to improve negotiation strength with providers.- Development of a custom and efficient MRP (Manufacturing Resources Planning).Research and Development responsibilities:- Supervising new products development and optimization (performance, quality which included compliance to UL, ETL and CSA standards and cost).- Leading successfully a 600.000,00 EUR project over one year, to develop the world first resistance spot welder for the autobody repair that complied with the low level of electromagnetic emission imposed by a new European normative (2004/40CE).
