I'm a data analyst that has been fortunate to use my experience and education to perform tasks outside my job description. Through the use of problem solving, supervisory, and analytical skills I have assisted department heads in their operations. Through Python programming I have developed skills outside of Excel that have increased efficiency and data relevance. My professional experience begins with my work for a municipal police department. As a supervisor I learned about leadership, motivational, performance measuring skills that can help an organization achieve objectives. Some tasks performed included: training, policy review, mentoring employees, performance evaluations, and other human resources tasks. I currently work as a data analyst in a large hospital system. I process data through various databases that is used for monitoring performance, process improvement, billing, and other analysis. A significant amount of work is processed through codes I have created. These codes are in the Python programming language, but I have also used codes in R. Other experience has come through the development of my own business. This experience allowed me to learn how to establish successful business models. I was also able to monitor financial performance and look for trends in performance. In addition to this experience I have also done brief work as an insurance agent where I was able to perform needs analysis and gain other customer service skills My educational background comes from two institutions. I obtained a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 2005. In 2016 I completed a master's degree in business administration from Liberty University. For this program I had a 3.8 GPA. After my master's degree I continued taking undergraduate courses at Liberty University. I have nearly completed the requirements for a degree in accounting.
