Senior QA Lab Technician 06/2006 - present- Responsible for the successful execution of quality improvements on existing and new products in the facility.- Preparation of Reagents, Receipt of dairy samples, Laboratory Sanitation Schedule. - Assist with initial and follow-up analysis necessary, following methodology for gathering data to assess Food safety and quality specification conformance with materials manufactured or received in dairy farm.- Maintain a dedicated focus on Milk and Ice Cream products quality- Document test data and Follow standards/controls, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot all equipment to ensure accuracy. - Provide needed technical support to Product Development, Operations and other functional groups in the development of quality.- Train new lab technicians on lab department policies and procedures. - Monitor Product and process quality through Audits, HACCP, Analytical testing, and product cuttings- Training for Sanitation, GMP, HACCP, SSOP, Plant Safety, Food Processing

- Serve as a liaison and primary contact between clients and the department - Coordinate events for 10-500 people and be involved with all aspects of the event from start to finish - Responsibilities include: creating and monitoring a timeline for the event; completing a service level agreement/plan of action; arranging all aspects for speakers; coordinating technical requirements (i.e., audio-visual equipment) - Work closely with department to ensure that event goals are met and the execution is flawless - Attend event to help set up, ensure all aspects are executed as planned and greet guests - Educate internal and external clients on the scope of service that USU provides
