I have finished my training for this role and am currently working in production as an L1 - First line of support.Some of my current tasks are:-First Point of Contact: I act as the first responder for IT-related issues. This includes supporting healthcare professionals, technicians, and administrative staff in resolving technical challenges quickly.-Technical Troubleshooting: My primary responsibility is to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of issues, ranging from basic software to more specialized issues related to information systems.-Ticketing and Documentation: I log, categorize, and prioritize incidents and service requests in a ticketing system, ensuring that all issues are properly documented. This is crucial for maintaining service continuity and for later analysis.-Escalation Process: Complex issues that cannot be resolved at L1 are escalated to higher-level support teams (L2/L3/L4).-Customer Interaction: I am expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with users, ensuring that they receive timely and effective support.-Continuous Learning: The role that I am in requires ongoing learning which includes the possibility of career progression.-Proactivity: Working on tickets generated by the backend monitoring system to prevent system failures.
