Responsible for all communications activity within the company which operated regional railway services in south and west Wales, and south west England in the run up to rail privatisation.

Responsible for all PR & communications activity in Wales for the railway industry.

Following a couple of promotions I was appointed members services manager in the RAC's Wales office in Cardiff, of which PR and communications was a big part of the job (you wouldn't have guessed that by the job title!). There I was responsible for all media activity in Wales reporting indirectly to the regional PR manager.Other duties included general management, personnel and administration duties.
