- Developed and implemented daily and unit lesson plans in alignment with the Massachusetts Science Teaching Curriculum, administered tests and evaluations, and analyzed student performance- Facilitated learning of 7th grade middle school students using multimodal teaching techniques, including tactile laboratory experiments and visual diagrams and videos- Established acceptable classroom behavior with students’ comments to minimize future class room management issues - Discussed students’ learning and behavior in class with parents during the parent-teacher conferences and continually throughout the year through email and phone discussions- Modified curriculum for various Special Education Students in the regular education classroom- Provided extra help to students before, during, and after school hours- Collaborated with colleagues and mentors on teaching strategies to help improve my personal practice- Attended various workshops such as Science Writing: The Common Core and More, Managing Classroom Behaviors and Keys to Literacy

Bay State All Stars is a private cheerleading facility which teaches members to not only enjoy physical fitness, but offers lifelong skills such as time management, organization, respect, teamwork, pride, commitment and self esteem. - As a coach, I worked with male and female participants ages 5-18. - I was required to plan practices and tumbling classes that were efficient and appropriate for the age and skill level. - Using my USASF, AACCA, and NFHS certifications, I provided a learning environment that was conducive to the sport and communicated to all students the importance of maintaining safety at all times. -Communication was also key at the conclusion of practices with the gym owners as well as parents of any issues, updates or important information which was necessary in preparation for upcoming events and activities.
