The Oil and Gas Industry Strategic Partnerships Development Council is a consultative and advisory cooperation of legal entities that coordinates all unions, councils and other alliances affiliated with The National Chamber of entrepreneurs “Atameken”, KazEnergy, The Ministry of Energy, of Investment and Development, PSA and other organizations. The Council aims to increase the efficiency of consolidated work and eliminate duplicative efforts and tasks.Creating long-term partnerships, consortia, collaborations of reliable contractors and subcontractors from the NCE Atameken database (1 million business entities) throughout all regions of Kazakhstan. Helping to get ready for projects KEP-1 KPO, NERP TCO, Khazar, Kalamkas-Sea NCOC, through organizing and conducting small and large meetings, working groups to address specified issues in any direction of the oil and gas industry. The Association of oil service companies of Kazakhstan was established in 2011 with the aim to unite and consolidate the efforts of all service companies working in the oil and gas and mining fields.The other aims of Association include:- The involvement of local companies in large oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan;- The promotion of the interests of the members of the Association;- The establishment of the informational-dialogue platform on the basis of the Association;-The consolidation of proposals and problems of the members of the Association.The KazService Association suggests jointly representing the interests of its participants in the regions of the country where the service business is run. Also the Association suggests co-operating with the state bodies to increase the efficiency of the work in the service industry in general and the concrete service companies in particular.The Association is under the discussion of the following issues related to the:Aspects of the local companies’ access to the long-term procurement plans of subsoil users;Interrelation of the oilfield contractors with the customers;Selection criteria of the oilfield contractors;Issues of state regulation of the oil field services business;Participation of the local companies in the subsoil user’s major expansion projects;Legislative initiatives.The Association believes that the discussion of the above mentioned issues and the joint search of opportunities will allow study the possibility of the scope of services, taking into consideration its huge and untapped potential.Also it allows attracting the foreign investments to this industry.
