Principal Engineering role - Design, testing and deployment of telephony software and hardware to the operations teams • Led the team in the successful design, testing and deployment of a new monitoring system (Alpaca) for the Broadworks Platform in order to allow more efficient troubleshooting, log parsing and admin change documentation• Successfully integrated and migrated provisioning, administration and customer access portal functions (Odin) from on-premise servers to a new cloud hosted portal (Odin) infrastructure• In place as a Tier 4 escalation resource for Operations Engineers needing assistance with complex customer issues or outages that cannot be easily resolved.• Maintenance and upgrade (Life-Cycle Management) of lab clusters, VMWare and SAN devices to stay current with production

Ops Engineer in the Voice Ops Support Center providing troubleshooting and platform maintenance expertise for Telephony• Responsible for managing the Voice Core switching and routing platforms deployed by the company, to include Nokia IMS, Metaswitch CFS/ISUMG, Session Border Controllers, Sonus/Ribbon tandem components, Broadsoft Servers, Nokia ALU/CTS, Nokia HiQ, and multiple Media Server platforms.• SME for the Broadsoft Platform and led the effort to upgrade through 5 major software releases to take the production deployment from R19 to R24 / Release Independent.• Created MOP documents in order to implement changes in the network. Reviewed and guided other TOEs in MOP creation, management and implementation.• Provided expertise in troubleshooting for individual customer issues to lower tier support and outage resolution

Responsible for the daily maintenance, repair and upgrading of the core telephony network. I am the team Broadworks Subject Matter Expert and also work on SONUS/Ribbon SGX, GSX, SBC, DSI ,PSX & DSC8K equipment. I am responsible for Cisco BTS Access Tandems and their interactions with the DSC8Ks. I manage the interactions between Broadworks and associated voicemail platforms (Postfix and Surgemail). I am one of the engineers responsible for peer-reviewing MOPs for the group and participating in weekly MOP review sessions. Manage relations with Cisco/Broadworks Sales Engineer assigned to Voice Operations.
