- Worked as part of the long term vegetation monitoring team in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park- Collected ecosystem and site measurements for 50, 50x20 m vegetation plots, and 30, 1km invasive species transects, often times in inclement or adverse conditions, Created final project story map exploring the effectiveness of various management actions on the protection of native biodiversity- Received wilderness first aid and CPR certification, as well as basic interagency flight training

- Organized and managed 4 undergraduate field interns during day to day field operations on three different long term experiments - Collected ecosystem and site measurements for 120 different long term tree plots as part of the ONRC’s long term ecosystem productivity study (LTEP)- Assisted in the unit monumentation and planting site preparation process for a new 3 acre Ethnoforestry understory management experiment- Conducted a baseline fish presence analysis through electrofishing of 14 different T3 watersheds, as part of a pre-treatment process for the newly developed T3 long term watershed productivity study in the Olympic Experimental State Forest in collaboration with the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
