CurrentFollowing Bank of America’s acquisition of MBNA, I was promoted to AVP and Senior Technical Lead to drive the integration process between the two banks. Less than a year later in 2007, I was again promoted to VP and Senior Solutions Virtualization Architect where I currently oversee technical and financial management of virtualized solutions.SELECTED HIGHLIGHTS & ACHIEVEMENTS✔ Consolidated infrastructure resources across the US, London, and APAC regions, saving $10M annually by shifting infrastructure hosts from physical to virtual machines.✔ Created a process flow that leveraged BOA inventory to generate a $3M annual cost savings. ✔ Personally wrote a baseline and diagram for a national hosting request system to support the capital market portfolio.✔ Maintained reporting consistency for the engineering team by building a function of virtualized operational activity.✔ Earned “Technical Best-in-Class” recognition by Gartner review of all bank forms from cost to the delivery model.✔ Reduced risk exposure while serving as a member of the Enterprise Server Network Equipment Room Governance Program.✔ Played a key role in the Merrill Lynch acquisition by transitioning ML into the bank network and establishing a TSA with the BNP executive team.✔ Created Proof of Concept (PoC) with VMware, UEM, Liquid ware Profile Unity, and Citrix User Profile Management for enterprise deployment and usage.✔ Architected, designed, and implemented the Citrix and VMware solutions for Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Equities, and Global Markets business lines.✔ Updated MiFID procedures in the European region, ensuring all regulatory actions were taken on front-line software worldwide.
