Leading a team of ten in engineering and operations focusing to create the first printer machine generation targeted specifically for external sales, develop the technology and organize printer machines’ in-house production operation in Finland.# Biggest effort was completing new printer machine generation from the beginning of concept design up to successful printer installation and technology commissioning at customer site. My team of ten succeeded to develop new printing technology which immediately won customer interest and was taken into production use. We build printers in-house in Finland and exported those to China where we trained the China staff to start large scale printed antenna production in 2013.# Major accomplishment was succeeding in developing unique breakthrough technology which came to play as a totally new alternative to existing choices.

I also was in charge as project manager of setting up first LDS technology antenna prototyping and later production capability to Korea.# The most important outcome was winning as the first antenna supplier the technology acceptance from another very demanding tier one mobile phone manufacturer in 2011.

Managing Finland antenna R&D support functions (prototype workshop, sourcing and project management) to improve both the prototyping as well as the product transfers to production. I also was in charge as project manager of the new LDS product and production technology commissioning in China, project involved also major investment and deep subcontractor partnering in China.# Vitally important scores were winning the technology acceptances from two tier one mobile phone manufacturers after long and thorough approval processes in 2009-2010.

I moved to Hungary July 2005 to set up factory and start mobile phone antenna manufacturing operation. I was managing director for Hungary legal entity. At the end of my one-year assignment in July 2006 factory had met the targets, employed 15 in office and 200 in production. # I'm proud of my success in building a team which I still time to time miss and very fast and cost-effective operation start-up.

I lead a team of 15 responsible for production technology development, line concept design and line capacity for new products.# Main achievement was successful creation of new very competitive assembly line concepts – fully automated to Finland and semi-automated China – to meet the fast product technology shift from metal sheets to flexible printed circuit boards at the same time with huge growth in production volumes.

Suzhou, China

I moved to China to lead the start of antenna manufacturing in Suzhou. As deputy GM responsible for antenna business I had very wide scope of work covering all from expertise and technology transfer from Finland and China team building to starting the local sales and deliveries. # Factory start worked out outstandingly; product transfer and delivery timetables were met, and operation was very profitable. At the end of my two-year assignment business was on good path, antennas were delivered in high volumes to several customers and continuously run antenna production employed 150 people.
