With over 25 years of experience in law, policy, writing and research, I am currently a Writing Fellow at the Middle East Forum, and Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Queens College-CUNY, and an Associate Research Fellow at The Henry Jackson Society, where I focus on international law, counterterrorism, law enforcement, security, and democratization. I have also been a private Consultant on Law and Policy for various clients. I hold an LLM in International and European Law from the University of Amsterdam, a JD from Fordham Law School.
