About Elizabeth Samson
With over 25 years of experience in law, policy, writing and research, I am currently a Writing Fellow at the Middle East Forum, and Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Queens College-CUNY, and an Associate Research Fellow at The Henry Jackson Society, where I focus on international law, counterterrorism, law enforcement, security, and democratization. I have also been a private Consultant on Law and Policy for various clients. I hold an LLM in International and European Law from the University of Amsterdam, a JD from Fordham Law School. I have authored several peer-reviewed publications on topics of comparative international law and humanitarian law and my writings have appeared in many media outlets incuding the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and the New York Post. I am fluent in Hebrew and speak some Dutch, and have skills in international relations and conflict analysis.
