About Esau Sanchez-Diaz

I am an accomplished Customer Success and Technology Leader with extensive experience as a trusted advisor for C-Level Executives. My collaborative approach involves putting the customer at the center of what I do, listening with empathy and curiosity. This has allowed me to define and materialize the vision of success via the Salesforce platform for many customers. A small sample of results include: preparing for IPO, increasing revenue, expediting M&A operations, international expansion, business value realization, optimizing sales and services operations. I am a big fan of technology and I have been fortunate to lead successful initiatives aimed at designing user centric solutions and delivering digital transformations at global scale. I have built and led teams (2 to 40+) of product managers, developers, business system analysts, consultants and success managers. My approach to leadership is not about managing people, but rather about inspiring people to excel at what they do, supporting them to grow and learn constantly, and creating a physiologically safe space where they can be their authentic selves. I am originally from the Zapotec region of Oaxaca, Mexico, where I grew up close to the Pacific. If you have ever had mole or mezcal, then you know where I am from! I am proud of my Indigenous background and have served as a Global President for an Equality Resource Group that I helped grow from 200 to over 2,000 members. Building a work environment where we all can be our true selves regardless of who we are is very important for me and what propels me to be involved in DEI work.
