Gabriel Escamilla is a Software Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in active software development. He has spent the last 15 years working for fast growing companies in the U.S. His current focus is on Finance Technology.Gabriel spent the first years of his career working for Giesecke & Devrient, a company leader in banknote production and processing. At Giesecke & Devrient he developed several systems to control chipcard production and lead the technical team that introduced GSM technology in Mexico. He was later invited to work for the Mexican Federal Government at the National Security Agency equivalent (SSPF). After 2 years working for the Federal Government he was recruited by Numerex, a company based in Atlanta, to work with M2M solutions for Coca Cola Latin America.In 2006 he came to the U.S. to work in Digital Marketing and eventually moved to an E-learning nationwide project. In 2014 he went back to Digital Marketing with "The Shipyard", a Marketing Agency where he performed an Agile/Scrum evangelizing job, organizing and leading their development team. In 2015 Gabriel was invited to work with Cover My Meds, a very fast growing company that integrates Electronic Prior Authorization functionality for Electronic Health Records. He started working with a team building and maintaining a System for Pharmacy Benefit Management to work Prior Authorization Requests; and moved after two years to a different team, building internal tools to help increase efficiency and eliminate operational risk of the day-to-day operations of Cover My Meds customers.By the 2023 reorganization of CoverMyMeds, now part of McKesson, Gabriel had been working with an empowered team, helping to build experiences for Real-Time User Support and User Data Analysis.At the end of 2023 Gabriel was invited to work at Skyview1, building a Digital Banking Platform for Financial Advisors to Provide Clients With End-to-end Service and Competitive Rates.
