Eric Smith-Schellhorn is a communications executive with 20+ years' experience working with senior leaders to enhance organizations' reputations, promote employee engagement and advocacy, and create compelling thought-leadership programs. He also raised the company's profile in the financial community by authoring six unconventional, humorous annual reports, which were the subject of stories in The Wall Street Journal, CNN and the Associated Press. The American Advertising Federation recognized these publications for "raising the standard" for annual reports.Previously, he was press secretary and chief aide to the Hon. Rey Pagtakhan, M.P., Chairman of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Human Rights. While in Ottawa, Schellhorn focused on tobacco regulation, Medicare, immigration and national unity. He began his career covering crime and national-defense issues at the Daily Democrat in Portsmouth, N.H., and the Winnipeg Sun in Canada. His articles and commentary have been published by the Christian Science Monitor, the San Francisco Chronicle and KQED public radio in San Francisco. He holds an M.A. in Communication from the UNC-Chapel Hill, and a B.A. from Tufts University.
