Direct responsibility for the corporation’s Global Transportation budget of $140 million annually. Provide the strategic and operational leadership assuring all the delivery needs of the manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and ultimately customers are met in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Develop and manage a Global carrier/3PL network that provides superior service at the most cost effective level possible.Manage the Global Transportation providers, including contract negotiation, rate structures and KPI performance.Perform transportation analysis to develop and implement strategies that support internal/external customer requirements Drive continuous improvement including strategic reviews with Transportation providersManage company’s TMS program to ensure quick problem resolution, efficiency and implementation of Logistics Best Practices. Ensure the automated freight billing and invoicing processes are accurate and timely. Direct the resolution activities of all freight claims related to carriers and their performance issues Establish and monitor Transportation activities with regular KPI reporting to demonstrate current and past service levels around cost, delivery and quality.

Responsible for the North American (Canada, US and Mexico) Transportation strategy and procurement across multiple modes including parcel, expedite, less than truckload, intermodal and truckload carriers. Accountable for approximately $65 million annual spend for inbound, interfacility and outbound transportation.

Managed the national account relationships with small parcel, less than truckload, truckload, dedicated fleets, private fleet and 3rd party providers. Developed and implemented transportation management strategies to optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to store locations.
