Senior Manager
Senior Manager, Consulting
During my time as a Senior Manager I’ve specialised in large-scale transformation programmes that seek to standardise processes and implement new technologies. A few of my notable projects have been: Training Lead for Finance Transformation programme implementing S/4 HANA: we set out to standardise systems and processes across a European Finance function spanning 26 different Countries and a Shared Service Centre over a 3 year programme to implement core components of S/4 HANA. As the Training Lead on the programme I defined the Training Approach and managed training content creation (80 courses and over 200 system recordings) across various delivery methods to provide a blended learning programme. I led the planning and delivery of: Pre UAT Training, Train the Trainer and End User Training.Business Change and Training Lead for Finance Transformation Programme: As a part of a Finance Transformation programme, we implemented SAPs S/4 HANA across a global Finance Function for PtP, OtC and RtR along with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) tool and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). As the Business Change and Training Lead across the FT Programme I established a global Change Network, driving the completion of Change Impact Assessments, Role Mapping and wider Leadership Engagement. I additionally created the Training Strategy and Approach,Training development tool selection, and Training partner requirements and selection. The blended learning programme delivered face-to-face training to 250 core users in 5 different locations globally, and digital learning (developed with SAP's Enable Now training development tool) to over 800 staff around the globe.
Manager, People & Organisation
Strategic Capability Lead - Digital Transformation Programme: I worked with a UK based client seeking to modernise their services through new technologies and enhancing customer service. I developed capability approaches for 17,000 staff in the strategic priority areas of Customer & Digital. I led the development of the subsequent learning programmes, managing a team of subcontractors and working alongside the client team as a delivery partner to build digital confidence and increase the quality of customer service. I also supported the creation and development of an internal Learning Development team who partnered with 55 technology projects to establish learning needs and manage the development of bespoke digital learning products.PwC Transformation, Strategic Change - Talent Manager: For this role I was supporting our Head of People in Consulting to plan and implement people changes for our firm wide transformation programmes. I managed strategic talent priorities and in particular enjoyed getting to work more closely with internal Consulting and firm wide stakeholders to ensure consistency and manage change effectively. I worked closely with all of our 'people leads' (HR, L&D, Resourcing, Recruitment) to deliver against the transformation plan, and ensure all 'people' activities are connected. Training Manager for Public Sector Client: To better equip managers for change and to enable the right behaviours and capability required for the transformation programme to succeed, we designed and delivered a 3 day development programme for people managers. 1200 people were trained, helping them to establish their role, responsibilities and stakeholder relationships as well as building key management skills.Capability Assessment Manager for Public Sector Client: As a part of the transformation programme, created and managed a technology enabled solution for capturing the technical skills, qualifications, experiences and tool proficiency levels of 11,000+ people.
National Steering Committee Member Glee (Pwc'S Lgbt Network, Now Known As Shine)
I've always had a passion for diversity and inclusion and was an active member of GLEE, so when the leadership opportunity came up within GLEE: how could I say no? In my time on the National Steering Committee I supported PwC's Stonewall submission for 3 years, started a regional branch of our Network for our colleagues in the West & Wales as well as the first professional LGBT network in Bristol.
Senior Associate, People & Organisation
Training Senior Analyst -Public Sector Client: I Independently designed, built and facilitated a full day training on assessment methods for which was rolled out to over 200 clients and stakeholders. I really enjoyed working with IT developers to create a bespoke Learning Management System (LMS) to enable smarter input of information and supporting documents and a slicker review process for the assessors. I had the opportunity to plan and run User Acceptance Testing with assessors, and I also created the supporting materials needed for the tool (e.g. user guides and videos) as well as for the accreditation process itself.
Associate
Consultant Behaviour Change for Finance Function: For a global insurer I had the opportunity to create and manage a network of 80 finance leaders (e.g. regional and country CFOs) around the world to support them with running Engagement Workshops in their areas, answer their queries, and collect their workshop outputs. I analysed data on 4,000 employees to plan the best locations, timings and trainers to run 800 workshops reaching all finance staff around the globe. What I enjoyed the most was getting to create the detailed design for interactive training: this supported finance professionals in running sessions with their staff on behavioural change. PMO - Client Engagement Programme: I was given responsibility for the PMO role for this programme which looked after 5 workstreams and looked to facilitate the completion of 400 surveys and interviews with top Global Banking and Marketing clients around the world. I had the chance to step into various roles on this programme managing senior PwC partners around the globe as well as a team of 7 interview scribes locally. The team I was a part of was absolutely delighted to be awarded with an MCA Award for Customer Engagement, you can read more about the programme and what it achieved here: https://www.mca.org.uk/consulting-case-studies/consulting-case-study-pwc-with-hsbc
