Manage implementation and administration of a web to print portal solution that assists with moving large amounts of print traffic from district schools to the current print center. Lead all marketing and communications support for project implementation, transition and steady-state support. As General Manager at AlphaGraphics, I oversaw all aspects of daily print production and operations with a focus on quality control. I provide design guidance and production support to our in-house design teams in order to meet strategic university printing objectives. Continually ensure timely execution of production on all projects and guarantee deadlines and day-to-day projects are achieved. Manage communication requests from university departments, manage file-prep and print production. Utilize and work with a million dollar annual budget to complete projects that push the university’s message forward to new and current students. Handle all levels of the proofing process with vendors prior to final production and delivery.

Managed client print projects from concept and design to print production and finishing. Directed a small staff to a common goal of creating clean and imaginative design solutions that produced strong results. Production of digital, offset and large format printing, handled every project with professionalism and creativity. Always started the design/print process with detailed client communication to develop a full understanding of the project and budget.

Working knowledge of prepress, design and printing including familiarity with layout, trim, bleed and an understanding of the offset rip process. Maintained a working knowledge of Pantone and process colors. Commonly dealt with various print processes including foil stamping, engraving, embossing and die cutting.
