Team Leader
CurrentAssist in having the facility succeed and be preeminent in all the pillars (Safety Quality, Service, People, Finance, and Growth).Assist the clinicians within facility to implement best clinical practices.Be a liaison between colleagues at the facility and the Director of Rehab and be the driving force of amity, unity, and trust among the colleagues within the facility to whom any colleague would feel at ease to come to for guidance or to report an event. Be an extension of the Director within the facility.Ensure the facility has all the required supplies and necessary equipment to run smoothly.Ensure the colleagues within the facility are all on par with the policies and procedures of the department and the hospital.Assist in conducting monthly chart audits on therapists to ensure proper documentation abiding by the hospital and regulatory policies.Ensure the facility is abiding by the Joint Commission standards at all times.Assist in putting in work orders for any repairs within the facility after it is approved by the Director of Rehab.Meet at least once a month as a group with other Team Leaders to discuss facility issues and concerns and to work collectively toward the success of the department as a whole.Assist the Director in conducting site meetings in his/her absence and sharing concerns of facility.Assist in ensuring that my team participates in any mandatory meetings or drills.Assist in planning and orientating new colleagues and to be a mentor to the new colleagues as needed.Keep track of the PMR of cost centers and the productivity and no-show rate of the facility and colleagues and to work cohesively with the Director of Rehab and the clinicians within facility to improve those numbers.Work with the scheduler to ensure that all referrals are being handled in an effective manner.
