At Steria, was responsible for delivery of Global Desktop Service (GDS) CoE which was first industrialized India Global Delivery Centre (GDC) Service involving 16 countries providing a single unified desktop management regime with supporting policies, technology and management process for Steria globally and catering to a heterogeneous end-user environment involving over 90 desktop and laptop models on more than 17,000 devices. As a part of this team, key responsibilities were:- Technology Evaluation for Global Desktop Services- Global Desktop Sevices Operations- Development of OS Deployment System- Alignment of services to ITIL framework and applied best practices to achieve cost savings while providing highly resilient and secure desktop infrastructure- Preparing and maintaining Standard Operation Environment (SOE) for Desktops and Laptops in the Enterprise, any changes in the SOE is evaluated before implementation.- Responsible for meeting SLA for Incidents, Service Requests, and Enterprise Design Review (EDR) requests.- Participating in various internal and external audits.- Liaising with various geographies to understand their business requirement and translate it to technical deliverable.
