For healthcare personnel, it is a digital assistant that simplifies follow-up and treatment. Lifeness provides a quick overview of all patients and good insight into the individual patient. For the patient, it is a self-help app that enables easier communication, more autonomy and provides increased motivation.

Subsequent to Observe Medical acquiring Biim Ultrasound, I was elected into the Board of Directors of Observe Medical. The company is listed on Euronext Expand Oslo, ticker OBSRV.

After two years as a board member for Seed Capital, I was asked to become the CEO of the company. My main tasks are:• Finding and evaluating new investments opportunities. • Determine financing models, including collaboration and negotiation with other investors and banks.• Following up on the investments, ensuring progress and receiving reports.• Participating in board of directors in any companies invested in.

My tasks are primarily business development and analysis of entrepreneurial opportunities within the ICT market in the United States. My experience with technology, entrepreneurial thinking and cultural/language boundaries was key. As a result, I was later given the responsibilities for the digital products and market development, including software. This entailed budgets and deadlines. Although my work has been primarily overhead, I've had several trips to California for a more active role.Main responsibilities:• Business development for digital signage.• Weekly video conferences with the US employees to check performance.• Reporting back to the rest of the board, and developing future strategies.

Biim Ultrasound has developed a small, easy-to-use, wireless and inexpensive ultrasound system that connects to any tablet.Subsequent to Seed Capital's investment in Biim, I was elected as a member of the Board of Directors. Later became the Chairman, and is currently working actively with the administration in financial, strategic and commercial development. Has raised >50 million NOK together with the CEO and working to grow the commercial success within the vascular access and dialysis space.Biim was acquired by Observe Medical ASA in March 2022. I lead the negotiations and due diligence process, and participated in Observe Medicals fundraising.

D'Liver is a contract research organization that aims to reduce the failure rate in the development of biopharmaceutical (large molecule) drugs due to bioavailability issues. Our specialized knowledge on liver uptake mechanisms provides you with unique products and services that address bioavailability challenges caused by unwanted liver uptake.My primary tasks were:• Private and public financing, with special emphasis on Norwegian and European R&D funds.• Structuring collaborations with domestic and international partners for development of products and services.• Driving sales of products and services.• General strategy, shareholder-relations and administration.The company was for all practical purposes discontinued in 2018 after critical infrastructure at the local university was closed.

As a part of the BI internship course, I primarily worked with identifying new market opportunities, and develop Fujitsus business with an entrepreneurial mind-set. Also worked with internal organizational and communicational challenges, and reported directly to the head of the product department and the CEO.Main areas of responsibilities:• Identifying market opportunities.• Challenge the "this is how we do it here"-mindset.• Taking part in strategic discussions and decisions.• Assisting colleagues with a variety of tasks. Examples include developing bids, taking part in customer and partner meetings, and analyzing market trends and shares based on reports.

Customer service and sales of consumer electronics, mainly computer and cell phones. Developed a keen interest in and knowledge of IT and consumer products. Worked during summer and winter holiday seasons after moving to Oslo. Acted as temporary department manager of the Telematics- and PC-department during holiday seasons the last few years. My main areas of responsibilities:• Reaching budget in revenue and profits on both departments, in addition to motivating and incentivizing colleagues to reach these goals.• Train new part-time staff in products, processes and customer service.• Forecasting product orders for future campaigns.• Ensure the departments product variety, offer and mass was sufficient and according to the market trends, without exceeding given inventory values thresholds.• Ensuring we offered the best prices and customer care possible.
