Job Purpose The Information Security Manager is responsible for providing guidance and protection to reduce or avoid financial losses and reputation risk and assist to achieve confidentiality, integrity, availability and non-repudiationKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with Egyptian Financial Cybersecurity Framework Evaluate, Design and maintain the security management system for Suez Canal Bank business applications with the stakeholdersFollow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the business Information Security department to ensure continuity of work Participate in designing information security program to Suez Canal BankConduct regular security awareness to multiple stakeholders inside and outside the bankManage the Regular Penetration Test and Vulnerability AssessmentAct with security alerts that received from different organizationsDealing with Information Security Incidents by analyzing incidents, providing recommendations and lessons learnedProviding security baseline in order to increase information security levelEnsure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, and internal Suez Canal Bank policies and procedures Evaluate new and existing systems, components, products, etc. for security protection and recommend how best to make use of them , in addition to provide security baseline to increase information security levelMaintain quality work paper documentations that adequately support audit findings and conclusionsCo-ordinate with central bank of Egypt to apply latest security controls and immediate response for international security crisis , Ensure Compliance with all relevant CBE regulations , Bank Laws , AML regulations and internal Suez Canal Bank polices in order to maintain SCB sound legal position and mitigate any potential risksUsing SIEM , FIM , and Fraud solutions to detect threats or weaknesses in placeDeveloping and maintaining the IT Risk Assessment, including identifying areas that IT should focusMonitor vendor activity and checking that contractual obligations are being metAssist all departments to achieve data classification missionMaximizing efficiency in system protection, networks, data, software, and information systems to guard against potential attacks Conducting ongoing research on cybersecurity criteria while staying abreast of validation procedures, security systems, and emerging threatsDelivering technical reports and test findings with actionable preventative solutions#cybersecurity#egyptian_banks #information_security
