About Eslam Abbass

Currently employed within Egypt national post organization responsible of all postal services within Egypt as IT systems analysis and delivery director. In addition, providing top financial for more than 22 million citizens. I have more than 21 years of extensive experience in the IT industry, with fourteen years in delivery and project management. In my present role as IT systems and delivery director, I enjoy the responsibility of leading Egypt post systems development, delivery and support that covers core banking, financial, ERP, postal and digital systems. Managing the portfolio, sales initiatives along with the internal delivery teams handling hiring process E2E, promotions, training plans, projects assignments, etc.I have extensive experience in handling clients’ and their mega projects. Building, forming and leading teams, motivating teams’ members, putting developing and training plans and share in their appraisals. I have vast experience in managing mega programs as core-banking, digital platforms/channels including floating RFPs, vendors’ management, HW purchase/delivery, products’ licenses purchase/negotiation, delivery processI have extensive knowledge in handling company merging programs handling merging activities starting gathering information about every company IT platform, setting plans for merging activities, commissioning platforms, meetings with different stakeholders, decisive actions on which platforms to retain/migrate to, handling interviews with the different IT resources, etc.I have Strong IT background vary from developing portals, software applications, system database design, applications and modules implementation using Oracle, Java, and Microsoft technologies for services, telecommunications and financial entities till deployment and systems support on production. I am highly organized and self-motivated; have excellent communication skills, and thrive in high-pressure environments. A solid team player who can work and meet tight deadlines.My goal is to excel in establishing strong service delivery center in organizations and corporates as well as moving with my career to be part of senior-top management in a reputable organization.I hold a B.Sc. in Computer and System Engineering from Ain Shams University, 1999. In addition; I hold an MBA from the German University in Cairo.
