I developed the volunteer policies, develop and deliver training, recruit volunteers and everything else needed for a volunteer organisation. When I arrived we had around 60 volunteers, right now we have over 320 volunteers. Besides managing volunteers, I am also involved in facility management of the project 'Museumhuizen'.

Knowledge for Children Cameroon aims to receive more funding from inside Cameroon. In this position, I mainly work on analysing the funding market in Cameroon, writing proposals and following them up.My biggest success has been with local councils. Various councils are now financially supporting Knowledge for Children to work with schools in their municipality.

Knowlegde for Children works on improving literacy in rural primary schools in the North West Region of Cameroon.As the Country Director of Knowledge for Children, I manage a team of eight (local) staff as well as local and international volunteers. I was involved in training and capacity building of staff, teachers and others; (local) fundraising, planning, reporting and developing projects and policies. I was based in Kumbo, a rural town in Cameroon.

Ilorin, Nigeria

For VSO I worked for the Kwara State Ministry of Secondary Education. Together with my Nigerian counterpart, I managed, trained and coached a group of 80 National Volunteers. These National Volunteers were teaching English and Science subjects in rural secondary schools.

Enschede Area, Netherlands

During my time at the Stichting Synagoge Enschede, I was involved in many different projects and actvities. My main duty was to organise a program with cultural activities.I organised many different activities, varying from lectures with five attendants, till debates with 600 participants. I also started the Stolpersteine Project in Enschede and founded the Syneon network (a network of monumental synagogues in the North and East of the Netherlands).To be able to execute all activities, I managed a group of 60 volunteers, was responsible for the administration, fundraising and project development.
