I am a graduate from the University of Liverpool with a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Bioveterinary Science. I have now begun the Veterinary Science course at the University of Liverpool.I was lucky enough to achieve the highest overall honours average in graduating Bioveterinary Science students as well as achieving the highest overall grade in my 2nd year. I also achieved a first class grade in my lab based honours project “In vivo and Genetic Evidence of Heavy Metal Tolerance in Bovine Digital Dermatitis Treponemes”.Outside of my studies I enjoy playing hockey for Liverpool University Veterinary Hockey Club and captained the 21/22 season. I have also played hockey to county level, representing Cumbria. In 2021, I began to play polo for the university, where I have attended national competitions run by SUPA.After thoroughly enjoying being part of the Liverpool University Veterinary Society (LUVS) as a 1st year rep, I became Charity Secretary for my 2nd year. I also joined the Liverpool Farm Animal Veterinary Society committee as a Species Day Coordinator. In my 3rd year I will be continuing my contributions to LUVS as the Liverpool Vice President.
