After earning her degree in Business Management and Economics from Hope College in 2003, Emilie began her career in the manufacturing sector in various operational roles beginning in purchasing, then project management and advancing to plant manager. Her time in manufacturing provided her the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for complex problem solving, active listening, and engaging with the customer. Emilie joined the SATISFYD Team in 2010 in an operational role and quickly transitioned to Technology by demonstrating her ability to swiftly grasp new concepts and think analytically, coupled with her love for solving problems. Emilie’s role at SATISFYD is two-fold. As IT Project Manager she keeps projects on track by identifying potential obstacles and their various solutions, all in an effort to stay within the confines of budget and deadline targets. Emilie also assesses the quality of each project deliverable validating stakeholder expectations are exceeded. She ensures all projects at SATISFYD go through internal quality assessments. Whether certifying that client objectives are achieved, performing cross-browser and device testing, or analyzing the user interface design—Emilie has the experience and eyes needed to effectively and efficiently work with the team to resolve any problems before final deployment.Emilie welcomes a good challenge and always seeks opportunities to learn, grow and succeed within dynamic, goal-oriented environments.When Emilie isn’t devoting her time to strategically managing projects and evaluating the SATISFYD application, she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters in beautiful Traverse City, MI.
